                        Girls Cross Country are YAIAA Division I champions

         Margaret Carroll won the YAIAA Girls Cross Country Championship

          The sophomore then won bronze at the District 3 championship

          One week later, Carroll finished FIFTH in the STATE. Well done!

ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT NEWS: As a reminder, dogs are not allowed on district property.  Event staff are instructed to address any spectators that bring their dogs to Northeastern Home events.  Please respect this district policy.  Also, please remember Northeastern is a tobacco free environment.  Cigarettes, Cigars, Pipes, Vaping Devices and Chewing Tobacco are prohibited from being used on district property. 

The Bobcats football team closed its regular season hosting New Oxford on Oct. 25 and the Bobcats were victorious 38-21. The District 3 5A playoffs opened Friday night at home against - again - New Oxford. Unfortunately, Northeastern could not repeat its success against a very good Colonials team, and the season ended with a 41-14 loss.

Boys Soccer saw its fine season close with Tuesday's 2-1 close District 3 4A tournament loss at Manheim Township. 

Girls Soccer's also had an awesome season, although the Bobcats' campaign closed with a 3-0 loss at Wilson in the district tournament.

Field Hockey scored its first win on Wednesday, 3-1 vs York Tech, then lost at South Western on Thursday, 6-0.

Jillian Laughman is the 2019 YAIAA Girls Tennis champion, topping Meghan Salada of Dallastown, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4. Way to go Jillian!!!! 


The Girls and Boys Cross Country had a home meet on Tuesday and both sides earned sweeps against New Oxford, Eastern and Littlestown. The girls wrapped up the Division I title with 7-0 league and 20-0 overall marks. The boys finished second in the division at 6-1 and 15-5 overall. On Tuesday, Margaret Carroll won the YAIAA girls championship.

Girls Volleyball has won four of its last five matches, including 3-0 sweeps against Red Land (Monday) and Red Lion (Tuesday), along with Thursday's 3-1 win at Dover.
